the belvedere academy
The Belvedere Academy opened in September 2007. One of the UK's most prestigious schools, Belvedere became the first independent School in the UK to become an academy, continuing the Belvedere tradition for setting standards and making history.
Earlier in 2007, we were asked to undertake the task of designing and developing a new website for the Academy, capable of not only successfully marketing the Belvedere's achievements, abilities and opportunities online, but also providing a complete interactive online system for staff, students and sixth formers to access and share an ever growing library of content and information.
The website is constructed using Micosoft's sophisticated Office Sharepoint 2007 (MOSS) system, a solution aimed at the world's largest companies and organisations. The system enables the Belvedere web site administrators to manage the content of the entire website through a series of secure, structured processes.
